It was the last weekend in Janurary and a cold front was coming in . There was light rain and the winds were blowing 15 to 20 mph .I had a good friend in from houston (Neil Wirth) we decided to go fishing .The tide was starting to go out pretty good. We caught a bunch of trout but kept around 8 nice trout and released 1 that was around 4lbs & hooked a couple of good trout that were alot bigger but lost them .We caught around 20 redfish before the weather said it was time to go in . So we waited for the front to pass it was about 2 hours & we hit the Lake again .This time we got out of the boat to do some wade fishing . It was pretty unreal . We threw Corky fatboys looking for some big trout . We caught and released about 15 trout which there were 5 or 6 in the 4 to 4lb range .It was time to head back to the lodge the sun was starting to go down so we called it a day.
